Welcome to the official website of the 2011 NPC Dexter Jackson Classic & IFBB Jacksonville Pro Championships! It is that time once again, as planning has already begun for one of the best NPC/IFBB competition shows in the Southeast. I am excited to once again make this show a great experience for both the competitors and the audience!
Whatever your goals are for 2011, on or off the stage, I want to motivate everyone to compete in or attend the 2011 DJC and Jacksonville Pro Championships. 2011 marks the 5th year anniversary for the Dexter Jackson Classic! While I also promote two other shows (Jax Physique and Memphis DJC) this show is close to my heart because it is my first show I chose to promote. In 2007, I wanted to promote a show that made the competitors feel that their hard work was rewarded with a competition that gave back to the athletes. I have learned a lot since then and continue to try to make every year better not just for the competitors, but also for the fans! In the 20 plus years I have been competing, I have been blessed with so many accomplishments. From my amateur years to my years as a pro, every goal I set began as a dream. Dreams that many said were impossible. Dreams I continued to work hard on and committed to see come to fruition! This year’s event is to share my faith that no matter what your dream is, with hard work, dedication and consistency, dreams do come true! No matter what your goals are, when you step on stage at the DJC/Jacksonville Pro, what it took to get to that moment once was just a dream! A dream that you made come true due to your persistence no matter the naysayers! I welcome all 2011 NPC/IFBB athletes to a competition where their hard work is appreciated and rewarded, no matter how they place. This is a competition that is first class behind the scenes as well as on the stage. I invite all fans to a show where the audience can experience a first class production of enjoyment, entertainment and enlightenment! No matter what, I will continue to dream and make those dreams goals to accomplish. Winning the ASC three times and becoming Mr. Olympia have been my biggest dreams come true, what blessings. So, dare to dream! I welcome everyone to this year’s event to be encouraged to make those dreams come true!

Along with the IFBB Pro 202 & Under, and the IFBB Pro Figure, last year was our first Jacksonville Pro Bikini. I am thankful to have had so many pros, both new and experienced, that came to Jacksonville to compete. This year I welcome all fellow IFBB pros to again come compete in the 2011 Jacksonville Pro Championships. Not only will there be stars on the stage, many will also be in attendance as special guests. Toney Freeman and 4-time fitness Olympia champion Adela Garcia will be the guest posers. Also, for the 5th anniversary, there is a special delight for the intermission act that you will not want to miss! I am proud to once again host the Q & A Seminar that will take place Saturday afternoon. The panel will include: Dexter Jackson, Toney Freeman, Marcus Haley, Adela Garcia, Guru Charles Glass, trainer George Farah, Ms. 2010 Figure Olympia Erin Stern, top pro bikini Jaime Baird, and others! Come prepared to ask all questions you have and meet some of the top pros and trainers in the industry. Finally, Al Smith and the UNF staff will no doubt, create another spectacular stage with the best lighting that will make every competitor on stage shine and look their best! We will of course have a media pit filled with the best photographers representing the industry’s leading publications/websites.
