The Lazzara Performance Hall, at the University of North Florida, will once again be our host venue for the 2010 Dexter Jackson Classic & IFBB Jacksonville Pro Championships. 

Lazzara Performance Hall
The 1300-seat Lazzara Performance Hall, inside the UNF Fine Arts Center, is named for Gasper and Irene Lazzara, prominent civic leaders who donated $1.25 million to the performance hall’s funding.

The fully equipped theatre has hi-tech lighting, sound and acoustics—and is the second largest stage in the area.  It is the perfect venue for any type of entertainment including sit down dinners for up to 120 people, lectures, meetings, special events and concerts.

The lobby is equipped with two concession areas, contemporary furnishings, modern lighting accents and an intriguing sculpture installation entitled Aurora.  It’s an ideal place for receptions or exhibits and can accommodate 200-300 comfortably for a special evening.

Parking Permits:
A $3 parking permit is required for parking at Fine Arts Center events for all patrons at all performances on Monday – Friday until 9 pm.

A parking permit is generally not required for weekend performances. The permit allows parking on the second, third and fourth floors of the garage and in designated lots.  

For Purchasing Tickets at the Box Office: If you choose to purchase your tickets at the Box Office,
FREE 15 minute parking is available in the circular drive located directly in front of the Fine Arts Center.

Directions From I-95:  Take J. Turner Butler Blvd. east to the Kernan Boulevard exit and turn left. The entrance to the University campus is approximately 1/2 mile on the left.  Upon entering the campus turn left at the second traffic light.  At the next traffic light, turn right and the
Fine Arts Center parking garage is on the right.

Directions From The Beaches:  Take J. Turner Butler Blvd. west to the Kernan Boulevard exit and turn right.  The entrance to the University campus is approximately 1/2 mile on the left.  Upon entering the campus turn left at the second traffic light.  At the next traffic light, turn right and the Fine Arts Center parking garage is on the right.

Directions From Kernan Boulevard Entrance After Acquiring Parking Permit from Booth:  The parking permit booth will only allow you to turn right as you exit after you purchase a pass.  Stay on this road and continue around the campus circle, known as UNF Drive.  You will pass the UNF Arena (and its garage) and continue to follow the circle, passing the library as well until you reach a road that leads to the entrance for the Fine Arts Center parking garage, there is a small blue sign where you turn left.  Immediately on your right you will see the garage for the Center.  Your parking pass allows you to park on the second, third and fourth levels of the parking garage.  The third level parking is the easiest access to the Center as there is a catwalk on this level adjoining the garage and the Fine Arts Center building.
